Ugly Sweater Cookies with Tryazon and Sweet Creations

Thanks to Tryazon, I was able to try out Sweet Creations Ugly Sweater Cookie Making Kit and share the fun with my family and friends. It was a hoot, and the best part was, that no one was worried about the perfection often associated with Christmas Cookies.

The best part, though, was the cookie recipe Tryazon and Sweet Creations shared. Grandma’s Sugar Cookies Ingredients: 3 cups of all purpose flour 1 cup of granulated sugar 1 ¼ teaspoon baking powder ¼ teaspoon salt 2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temp ½ teaspoon vanilla extract ½ teaspoon lemon extract 1 large egg 2 ounces cream cheese powdered sugar for dusting icing and sprinkles for decorating Preparation: 1. Place flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl whisk to combine. Set aside. 2. Place sugar and butter in a large bowl beat with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth. Add extracts, egg, cream cheese, beating to incorporate. 3. Gradually add flour mixture and stir to combine. Divide dough in half and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hr. 4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside. 5. Roll dough out to ¼ inch thick on a powdered sugar-dusted work surface. Sprinkle with decorating sugar if desired. 6. Place an inch apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake until edges are golden - about 12 minutes. 7. Remove from heat and let cool on baking sheet for 1 -2 minutes before transferring to wire rack. After cooling, cookies can be decorated with icing. The size of the Sweet Creations Ugly Sweater Cutter was perfect, so decorating them allowed for a lot of freedom and didn't require too much attention to detail. The standard decorating bottles and tips worked perfectly.

Freschetta is Frozen Pizza's Nemisis

I received a free Freschetta Pizza from Smiley360. We are pizza lovers in our house, so we were excited to get in on the mission. We had NO idea what was in store for us. I went to our local Walmart with my coupon in hand, ready to try another frozen pizza. We prefer homemade, take-and-bake, or takeout pizza, but with our busy schedules, sometimes we have to "settle" for frozen. Well, settle no more! Freschetta is the BEST frozen pizza we've ever tried. The sauce is thick and packed with flavor. The naturally rising crust bakes up thick and crisp on the outside and warm and delicious on the inside. I chose the Canadian Bacon and Pineapple variety. This pizza baked perfectly and compared to more expensive take-and-bake pizzas we love.

Root-N-Toot-N Fun with RoosterFin

I was able to try three RoosterFin games - Mohawkz, Rooster Race, and Lumpy Cubes - with family and friends through Tryazon for free in exchange for my opinions and feedback!

These games were created by a math teacher and offer fun as well as educational benefits. For example, Lumpy Cubes takes coordination, utilizing fine motor skills; it also tests reaction time, as it is a race against all other players. Rooster Race is a fun game for any age, as it is a test of predicting the next card's value by guessing whether the card will be higher or lower. The added ears of corn are fun, as they give kids tangible pieces for their success (or shortcomings) in making predictions. Mohawkz is a game of calculation and coordination; it is like cornhole for kids. Kids gain hand-eye coordination and have fun bouncing, flying, and scoring.

Tryazon is a great way to try products for free! I wouldn't have likely discovered RoosterFin Games without Tryazon. Now, I am scouring Amazon for other varieties. These games kept the kids at our Tryazon party busy. They were begging to play the games! I received free samples of Eternity Now for Her and Eternity Now for Him from Influenster! I have never been so happy to get in on a VoxBox! Eternity Now for Her is my new favorite scent. The perfume is the perfect mix of flowers, fruits, cashmere, and musk. It is a mellow scent, but it lasts all day. I feel sexy and confident when I wear it.

I am a huge fan of Calvin Klein perfumes, but Eternity Now for Her takes the cake. This perfume is perfect for everyday wear. As I walked into work the first day I wore it, I had a few people stop and ask what I was wearing. Tryazon and Rhodes - Quick, Easy, & Delicious Party

I am a member of Crowdtap's Neutrogena Crowd and Neutrogena sent me a free sample of Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil to review. All Opinions are my own. As a make-up user and a believer in removing all makeup and truly cleansing my skin, I was pumped when I was accepted to test the Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil. I am a regular user of makeup removing wipes, as they are really easy to use. I had never tried an oil and frankly had some concerns about using oil to cleanse my face. However, my concerns were laid to rest after my first use.

Neutrogena's Ultra Light Cleansing Oil just might be my favorite Neutrogena product, and I LOVE Neutrogena! I simply applied a couple squirts of the oil to a cotton round and applied it to my face. I didn't have to scrub or roughly rub my face. I don't have sensitive skin, but I don't like using harsh products or over-scrubbing my thin skin on my face. Again, Neutrogena's Ultra Light Cleansing Oil held up to my expectations and wants.

The evidence was on the cotton round! This stuff took off my makeup like no one's business! Even better, my skin had a fresh glow and didn't feel oily at all.

I am a huge fan of saving calories without sacrificing flavor, so I naturally LOVE Sweet'N Low. I was thrilled to host a brunch using the Sweet'N Low recipes found on their website. There really are recipes for every occasion. I made a Sweet'N Sour Chicken with Sweet'N Low. I added a couple packets of Sweet'N Low to my pasta bake for a sweet summer brunch true Italian lasagna-inspired dish. I made pie, muffins, and cakes. And, of course, I used Sweet'N Low in my coffee and even made homemade frappes for the family.

With a daughter diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes, our family has changed our eating habits, cutting out sugar where we can. Sweet'N Low cuts the extra carbohydrates but keeps the flavors we all love.
