Pi Day with PIE! #numbersalive #tryazon

We held our annual Pi Day celebration on 3-14-18. Students did an activity where they brought in a sphere or something round. They then measured and used the formula to come up with an average to get as close to Pi as possible. This year the average was 3.145!

We then celebrated with few different kinds of pie a la mode. The students learned that Albert Einstien was born on Pi Day. We talked a lot about how Pi has helped in the development of technology. Our math teacher is amazing and always does such a good job celebrating.

To end the Pi Day celebration, we celebrated with pizza pie! Thanks, Numbers Alive and Tryazon!
