SweeTarts Soft & Chewt Ropes - Cherry Punch

As part of a sharing mission from Smiley360, I received free SweeTarts Soft & Chewy Ropes (formerly Kazoozles) for evaluation in exchange for honest feedback. The SweeTart Soft & Chewy Ropes were a hit with my kids who loved the soft licorice texture and the sweet and sour flavors of the Cherry Punch. The filling in the middle of the ropes made them happy because it seemed that is where some of the sour flavor came from. The kids, ranging from 12 to 8, each liked the flavor but asked what other flavors there were. My son, 8, asked if we could look for green apple the next time we go to the store. I would like to know more about other flavors, as these licorice treats gave me a bit of satisfaction too: there are no artificial flavors or colors in the candy, which can be hard to find in today's world. With only 45 calories in each rope, my kids are satisfied without adding a great deal of calories to their diets. The product is manufactured by Nestle and made in the USA. While my kids have no food allergies, I was sort of shocked to see that there is a wheat ingredient in the candy. SweeTart Soft & Chewy Ropes were received with mixed reviews with the adults I shared with. The candy is not like the typical licorice we are most accustomed with. My fiance said he preferred plain licorice and specifically mentioned Twizzlers, which was my initial thought as well. The filling in the middle of the ropes was where the flavor seemed to be really concentrated and almost shocked my taste buds. My friend thought SweeTart Soft & Chewy Ropes were more satisfying than traditional licorice though because of the powerful flavor. I would recommend this candy for children or for adults who like bold flavors while still satisfying a craving for a traditional or familiar candy or texture.
